What is Daily Puzzles?
Daily Puzzles is a free hub of seeded browser puzzle games. Every day at midnight UTC a new challenge unlocks, and every player on Earth gets the same puzzle, so you can compare results with friends without spoilers leaking through different boards. No signup, no ads, no tracking beyond basic analytics. Open the page and play.
How the daily seed works
Each game uses the current calendar date as its random seed. The same date produces the same chess gauntlet, the same word grouping, the same maze layout. That makes results directly comparable, the way Wordle popularized for word games, but across multiple puzzle genres.
Available games
- Chess Gauntlet โ a daily chess pathfinding roguelite. Survive enemy pieces, rack up captures, beat your score.
- Connections โ a daily word grouping puzzle. Find four groups of four. Four mistakes and you are out.
- Daily Sudoku โ classic sudoku with combo streaks, notes mode, and a daily hint. Same puzzle for everyone.
- Dungeon Sweep โ a daily minesweeper roguelite. Read the numbers, dodge traps, grab loot, and descend deeper.
Frequently asked questions
Are these games really free?
Yes. No ads, no in-app purchases, no signup. Free in every sense.
Can I install Daily Puzzles as an app?
Yes. It is a Progressive Web App. Use your browser's Install or Add to Home Screen option. Once installed it works offline for recently played games.
Does it work offline?
After the first visit, yes. A service worker caches the app shell and the games you have opened.
Why is everyone playing the same puzzle?
The seed comes from the date. Same date, same puzzle. That way you can compare your run with a friend's without different boards muddying the comparison.
